Island Treasures The grace and beauty of the island (of PEI) and her people have captivated me all my life. The peace and serenity is like going home. My paintings reflect that quiet beauty. The islands life style and breathtaking scenes captured on canvas continues to inspire me. The island offers an expansive variety of textures in her rolling hills of the patchwork countryside with her fiery red clay contrasting that deep blue grey of the Atlantic ocean. Quiet fishing villages with vivid colours and standing history exude tranquility. The use of water colours or oils express my passion for that decisive contrast from land to ocean.
